The Resort

The hotel enjoys a panoramic view of the Atlantic and the nearby island of La Gomera. Culinary delights await you in abundance as the hotel boasts 10 restaurants offering amongst other delights seafood, Argentine specialties and Japanese cuisine.

The adjacent golf course offers an enjoyable challenge on its varied terrain. There are 22 water hazards along the course, joined by impressive waterfalls and white sand bunkers. The first class clubhouse befits such a magnificent golf course. Allow yourself to be pampered after your round at the Wellness and Spa centre, which offers a wide range of effective international treatments.

The Wellness and Spa Centre has a harmonious atmosphere perfect for resting the body and calming the mind. Abama's state-of-the-art guest rooms measure from 50 square metres and all feature large private terraces and generous marble bathrooms.

Golf

Abama's Dave Thomas-designed course is now widely regarded as one of his greatest achievements. Over 6,271 metres of ever-changing terrain, it features 22 lakes linked by impressive waterfalls and white-sand bunkers, and 25,000 palm trees. Most holes provide spectacular views of the Atlantic and the island of La Gomera. Large greens provide an infinite choice of flag positions which, combined with the wide tee areas at each hole, makes the course accessible to players with high handicaps, and a challenge even for the most experienced golfer.

Golf Academy

Abama offers a Golf Academy for beginners; you can receive expert tuition with one of Abama's golf instructors. Less experienced golfers can develop their confidence and improve on their skills on the 5-hectare practice area. Also available are a driving range and putting area plus three par-3 holes for beginners.  

Rooms

Abama spares no expense in the preparation of guest rooms and suites to ensure maximum comfort and luxury. Opulent hallmarks include the highest quality bed linen plus luxurious featherbeds, Egyptian cotton sheets and 100% natural linen. Six pillows of different sizes come as standard in each room, however there is also an extensive pillow menu available.

The Citadel

The citadel is the heart of the Abama complex, and ideally situated between Abama's beach and golf course. Here is where you'll find most of the resort's bars and restaurants and facilities.

In the citadel there is a choice of a deluxe room or suite accommodation. The rooms' interior design makes use of local materials and each comes equipped with a king-size bed or twin beds, marble bathroom and a fully furnished private terrace.
