The Resort

Host venue for The 2010 Ryder Cup and the annual battle ground for The Wales Open, The Celtic Manor Resort occupies a sought after position at the head of UK resort golf. The development has helped to mark Wales on the golfing map, and its luxurious and comprehensive onsite facilities mark it out from any other in the country.

The Celtic Manor is a golfer's paradise, with three outstanding championship courses available for resort residents. At the head of the queue is the Twenty Ten Course, the Ryder Cup layout that was purpose built for the 2010 event, ably supported by the Montgomerie and Roman Road Courses, both very impressive in their own right. Overlooking the latter two is the five-star Resort hotel, a deluxe retreat with fantastic dining and spa facilities.

Golf at Celtic Manor

Golf is central to The Celtic Manor experience, with three outstanding courses set around the striking 1,400 acre estate.

The Twenty Ten Course

The first course of its nature to be purpose-built to host The Ryder Cup, the Twenty Ten is a dramatic layout with great expanses of water, all designed to offer the most exhilarating golfing experience. Close to 7,500 yards and capable of amassing some 50,000 spectators, the Twenty Ten and its fantastic climax will live long in the memory.

Montgomerie Course

Host to the Welsh Open from 2000 to 2004, the undulating Montgomerie Course is a high quality layout that borrows land from the pre-existing Coldra Woods and Wentwood Hills courses.

Roman Road Course

The demanding Roman Road Course was the staging ground for The Wales Open until The Twenty Ten burst onto the scene, and was the product of a Robert Trent Jones Jnr. design.
