Golf
The 18 hole championship golf course at Chapelco was Jack Nicklaus’s first design in South America and the course perfectly complements the beauty of the natural surroundings. Perfectly manicured fairways, bordered by Oregon pines and tall whispy rough, wind their way through the foothills of one of the world’s great mountain ranges, which serves as the most dramatic of backdrops to be found on any course in the world.
As with many Nicklaus designs, the course places an emphasis on shot shaping from the tee and accurate approaches to the slick, USGA regulation greens. A multitude of tees means this course is able to offer a stern but fair test to a host of golfers of varying ability.
