The Almanzora valley is the region with the most sun, least rain, and most importantly, the warmest winters in Europe. Understandably, golfing visitors to this area could be forgiven for believing they have witnessed a mirage or two in recent times when stumbling across emerald green golf courses in the middle of the Almanzora Desert.
