Allocated cars
Because we understand that golfers need more space in their cars, we ensure that you are allocated a car that's big enough for the number of passengers and one piece of luggage and a golf bag each. We may be able to offer a roof rack if your vehicle has suitable fittings. Please note that many car rental companies are removing roof racks.
Single traveller's car hire
Included car hire is based on a minimum of 2 people sharing. For single travellers we can offer car hire at a small supplement. Please telephone our sales team on 0870 609 0995 for more details.
Returning your car
Car rental durations are defined as one day = 24 hours plus one hour's grace on return. If you know in advance that you will require the car longer than the stated time, we can pre-book your car for an additional day. Usually this rate is lower than you will be charged locally.
Your car hire includes:
- Unlimited mileage
- 24-hour emergency road service
- Car group as detailed
- CDW insurance (excluding excess cover)
- Hotel delivery for Finest hotels
Your car hire does not include:
- CDW excess cover. All car hire companies require credit card guarantee or cash deposit for excess damage on the vehicle. The excess cover is arranged locally and cannot be pre-booked. Excess damage can be waived by a payment of a daily insurance fee. This payment varies between car company, duration and car grade. Excess cover varies from £2 to £10 per day. - Fuel (deposit), parking, road tolls, etc.
- Additional drivers (payable locally)
- Infant seats
- Young drivers. Minimum age for rental is 23 years, and for high-powered or large vehicles this may increase to 27 years. European car companies are subject to a small charge for any person under 25 years.
- One-way rental charges. These may apply if the car is dropped off at a different location from pick-up point.
