Golf Park Puntiró
Located close to Palma, and due to officially open in April 2006, Golf Park Puntiró is an 18-hole, par 71 course built on an estate of 164 acres. The difficulty of the course is average, making it ideal for the higher handicapper, though it can provide a tough challenge from the championship tees. It has a total length of 6714 yds of the white tees, with some holes requiring accurate shotmaking, and others being more suited to bigger hitters.
Son Vida
The oldest and most established layout on the island. Tree lined fairways make their way through stunning Mediterranean flora and the course has fantastic views over Palma Bay and Sierra Tramuntana.
Golf Santa Ponsa
Host venue for the Balearic Open for the last six years speaks volumes about the quality of this golf course. The fairways are wide and the 10th hole at 560 metres is one of the longest in Europe.
Poniente
Surrounded by pine groves Poniente is has a mixture of both narrow and wide, well manicured fairways. There are six water hazards and numerous bunkers that come into play.
Bendinat
A varied and challenging course set within a wide pine valley, the course has undulating fairways and spectacular sea views. A well kept course which should be a definite to play.
Son Antem
The east course has a resort feel with wide open fairways, woodland and lakes adding interest. The west is a championship test with undulating fairways and large elevated greens.
Son Termens
With no buildings in sight this is one of the most ecological and peaceful courses on the island. It used to be a hunting estate and as a result eagles and partridges can still be seen on the course.
Canyamel
Well kept greens are surrounded by strategically placed trees and bunkers making for an entertaining round.
Vall D’Or
The front nine holes have rolling fairways that wind between rocky gullies and olive, almond and pine trees, the back nine run down to the coast with magnificent views of the Mediterranean.
Capdepera
Set in an impressive valley surrounded by mountains. Long broad fairways are combined with others that require more precision.
Pula
Set in beautiful countryside and rated in Spain’s top 20 golf courses. Only slightly hilly the course is easy to walk, but elevated greens call for controlled high approach shots.
Andratx
This course has narrow fairways and a total of 7 lakes and smaller ponds, Majorcan style dykes are cleverly placed to make life more interesting.
