Sun City Courses

The Gary Player Country Club
is renowned within the golfing world as a difficult and demanding course,
where players need stamina and accuracy. The course is fairly flat which
can lead you into false sense of security, as there are many water hazards,
cunningly placed bunkers and the greens are kidney shaped. From the back
tees the course is one of the longest in the world but the variety of tees
allows you to shorten the course to suit your own playing ability. It's
difficult to choose a signature hole for this course as they are all so
memorable, but we're sure you'll remember the 9th a par 5 with an island
green.
Lost City Golf Course offers
rich green fairways and bunkers formed with barren waste. It's a breathtakingly
beautiful course, but intriguing is another good word for it. The 13th hole
is definately one where you need stay out of the water, as it contains crocodiles
up to 2 metres long and you'll have to drop a shot! The back nine is like
being on golf safari with 4 of the holes being played from elevated tees.
This course is one of the most exciting and interesting courses you will
play in South Africa.
