The Resort

Surrounded by the majestic Helderberg and Hottentots Holland Mountains, the Erinvale Estate Hotel & Spa is blessed with top-class facilities and hospitality in an idyllic South African setting. Guests can enjoy a round of golf on the neighbouring Erinvale Golf Course, featuring 18 stunning holes designed by Gary Player. The resort can organise tours of the more notable estates to enjoy a tutored tasting of their acclaimed olives, olive oils, and splendid wines while taking in panoramic views.

You can also visit Hermanus, hailed as offering the best land-based whale watching spot in the world, or tour the world famous Garden Route, which includes stretches between the coastal town of Mossel Bay and Nature's Valley. The beautiful sandy beaches of Strand and Gordon’s Bay, just around the corner, are an outdoor and sports lovers' paradise, offering something for everyone, be it sunbathing, swimming, surfing, or sailing. 

Golf

The Gary Player-designed 18-hole golf course has fast become renowned throughout the golfing fraternity both locally and abroad. Situated in the beautiful wine region, Erinvale’s breathtaking mountain and sea views are an integral part of this unforgettable golfing experience, but this beautifully manicured par-72 championship course also boasts some of the country’s most challenging and spectacular holes.

Erinvale’s demanding front nine meanders through park-like terrain, whilst the back nine provide a contrasting challenge winding its way through the foothills of the mountains with panoramic views of False Bay. The greens at Erinvale are huge and well-shaped allowing for several different pin placements. A feature of the layout is that different coloured flags tell you the position of the pin, blue flags at the back, white in the middle and red at the front. Erinvale is also a real estate development where homes blend well into the landscape.

The 18-hole championship golf course played host to the 1996 World Cup of Golf. This is a course with two distinctly different nines. The front nine is relatively flat, winding between the many houses in this part of the estate, while the back nine climbs up the lower slopes of the magnificent Helderberg Mountain, with breathtaking views of the coastline from the top holes.

The Spa

The Ginko Spa at Erinvale features four spacious treatment rooms, a steam room, indoor heated whirl pool, outdoor pool and sun deck as well as a relaxation area with a juice bar. Therapies on offer are carefully chosen to create the perfect environment in which to combat stress, pollution and discomforts caused by urban life. The Erinvale Estate Spa offers guests a uniquely holistic treatment of mind, body and spirit to rejuvenate the senses.

Treatments are based on traditional touch therapy. A range of rejuvenating facials and massages, body treatments such as body bronzing, body wraps and additional treatments such as tints, manicures, pedicures and waxing are available. Gingko's versatile treatments are ideal whether you need to relax, relieve tension, eliminate toxins or simply pamper yourself.
