Golf
El Camale'n is the astounding championship golf course at Fairmont Mayakoba, the host of the only sanctioned USPGA Tour event outside the United States and Canada. The Mayakoba Classic is a fitting recognition of the quality of Greg Norman's design for the course, which measures more than 7,000 yards from the tournament markers. The average player should not despair, however, as El Camale'n has tees to suit all.
Overlooking the white sand of the Playa del Carmen and the stunning azure hues of the Caribbean, the golf course at Mayakoba is a joy to behold, and offers everything you could ask from a holiday course; playable yet challenging, the course is maintained superbly by an expert team, and with plenty of water in play on most holes, drama is never far away.
