The Resort
Soak up the glory of the Garden Route at Fancourt, one of South Africa's premier destinations for discerning golf and leisure travellers, home to three outstanding Gary Player courses and superb onsite amenities. Set amid 620 acres of lush countryside, with the Outeniqua Mountains towering above, Fancourt is a visually beautiful retreat, and offers high profile accommodation to match.
Old world charm and contemporary luxury are blended sympathetically at Fancourt and throughout its accommodations, while the sublime spa and obvious golfing riches place the resort among the elite of international destinations. Located near George, to the east of Cape Town, Fancourt serves perfectly as a luxury base for explorations of the stunning Western Cape and Garden Route.

Bars and Restaurants
Fancourt has relaxed and welcoming options for dining and relaxing, styled and decorated in complete harmony with the luxury Garden Route resort.
The Club Lounge
Overlook the final green of Fancourt's Montagu Course from The Club Lounge, where the menu has been revised with the inclusion of some clubhouse classics - try the Cobb @ 19 Salad or the 200g sirloin signature burger.
La Cantina
La Cantina is open for a buffet breakfast and dinner service, where the atmosphere is informal and the style is Italian and Mediterranean.
Morning Glory
Gaze out over the Outeniqua Course's first tee and enjoy the specialties in Morning Glory, which include sushi, and where the emphasis is on organic produce.
The Spa
The elegant surroundings of the spa at Fancourt complement the superb facilities, and guests are invited to enjoy high quality treatments and experiences, and relax with views of the resort and the Outeniqua Mountains. The hydrotherapy journey is a perennial favourite - indulge and revive as you progress through the Roman baths, sauna, steam room, cold plunge pool, Jacuzzi and tepidarium.
The spa also has a range of specialist treatments that are supported by its own exclusive product range - Celebrating Nature. Incorporating many of the natural essences and extracts of the Garden Route, the range makes the spa experience only more unique.
Golf
With three top class courses, including The Links - ranked in the top five in South Africa - Fancourt is regarded by many to be the premier golfing facility in the country. Play on the three splendid courses is restricted to members and resort residents, and this exclusivity is supported by irresistible quality.
Laid out by Gary Player, the cornerstone of South African golf, The Links is the crowning glory of the magnificent Garden Route resort, and hosted the 2003 Presidents Cup. In excess of 7,600 yards, The Links is a ferocious championship test that ranks as a 'must play' for serious golfers.
The quality of The Links should not deter attention from Fancourt's two further layouts; the Outeniqua, named for the surrounding mountains, is probably the easiest of the trio, but is itself a Player design, while the Montagu is a championship heavyweight that at one point was named South Africa's best course.
