Golf

Views of the beautiful Bahamian coastline help make the Ocean Club Golf Course one of the most memorable venues in this region, but it isn’t all about the vistas.

A redesign by Tom Weiskopf in 2000 transformed the course into an entirely new course and much of the foliage that blocked the ocean views was removed to make way for stunning seaside tees and greens, The Ocean Club golf course provides a superb test of Caribbean golf, the 18-hole, 7,100-yard, par-72 course stretching to over 7,100 yards along Paradise Island's striking peninsula, where crosswinds challenge even the most experienced of players. It’s gained a well-deserved reputation as one of the finest courses in the Caribbean and Michael Jordan hosts his popular Celebrity Invitational charity event here every year.

Configured in two loops of nine holes, the fairways wind their way through wetlands, waste areas and lagoons. The signature hole is Spyglass, the 208-yard 12th, where the tee shot must carry an inlet to a forward sloping well-bunkered green.

It’s a great place to play golf all year round with consistently sunny and warm weather plus excellent service (The Ocean Club offers high quality Callaway Clubs as rental sets) - and the breathtaking ocean views are the icing on the cake.
