Robert Trent Jones Junior, the esteemed American course architect, mapped out the Atlantic Course, Penha Longa's signature championship attraction. Reaching close to 7,000 yards, the Atlantic rolls across the foothills of the Sintra Mountains, creating remarkable views and some truly memorable holes.
While it may only have nine holes, the Monastery Course at Penha Longa is superbly conditioned and laid out, with a testing par-35 layout that will add plenty of variety to any golf escape at the luxury Lisbon resort.
