The Resort

Featuring dazzling views of the Gulf of Mexico, three miles of pristine beaches, world-class restaurants and impeccable service, The Ritz-Carlton in Naples, Florida, named in Condé Nast Traveler’s 2010 “Gold List”, offers an unforgettable retreat in one of the world’s most beautiful locations.

Not only that, you can experience two sublime championship golf courses at Tiburón, designed by the legendary Greg Norman, that are now home to the PGA Tour's Merrill Lynch Shootout, held annually in December.

Guests can choose from eight innovative dining experiences, indulge in the luxurious world-class spa, or relax and enjoy the pools and beach activities, including a wide selection of water sports. They are spoilt for accommodation options too, with a huge selection of rooms and suites to choose from.

Golf

A favourite of both professional and amateur golfers alike, Tiburón is carved out of 800 acres of native Florida foliage. Greg Norman designed the courses to play like British links layouts, which explains the crisp fairways, firm, fast and expansive greens and steep-faced bunkers. Accuracy, and especially straight driving, is the key to scoring well at Tiburon. Several small lakes and ponds allow the course to open-out from time to time, but also brings water dangerously into play on over half the holes.

Players have the choice of five tee boxes per hole to make the experience challenging for all skill levels. Gold and Black courses alternate each day as guests have access to 18 holes. The Gold Course measures 7,288 yards from the tournament tees while the Black Course measures 7,005 yards.

A full-service practice area with chipping and putting greens is also available. If your game needs some TLC there is also a highly rated Rick Smith Golf Academy at Tiburón. Rick Smith is recognised as one of the top instructors in the world and PGA Tour players such as Phil Mickelson and Lee Janzen have used Rick's guidance to reach their full potential.

Rooms

Guests here can choose from 450 luxuriously appointed guest rooms, including 35 suites and 70 Ritz-Carlton Club Level rooms and suites, each with a view of the beach and Gulf of Mexico. Club level rooms and suites are like a hotel within a hotel, where a dedicated concierge attends to individual needs in a well-appointed, relaxed lounge environment. It offers continuous culinary offerings throughout the day (breakfast, light snacks, hors d' oeuvres, beverages and sweets). It is the ideal place to conduct business, plan a family outing or simply unwind.
