The Resort

Golf
The Algarve, of course, is nearly overflowing with top quality championship 18-hole courses, and any of these can be enjoyed with relative ease from a base at the Sheraton Algarve Resort, but hotel guests need not travel so far for high quality golf. Within the bounds of the luxury golf holiday destination is the Pine Cliffs Course, a nine-hole layout of renowned calibre and character, making full use of the cliffs and gorges of the Algarve's iconic coastline.
Driving across great gullies with the beach and the Atlantic waves for distraction makes Pine Cliffs very special, and at times reminiscent of Vale do Lobo's Royal Course. The famous 'Devil's Parlour' awaits misplaced tee shots from the 6th tee, one of the Algarve's most nerve-wracking and photographed golfing experiences.

Elegant and refined, O Pescador is a magnificent seafood restaurant - with a charming terrace for al fresco dining in the summer - where specialties include a daily crustacean platter.
In the resort's main restaurant, the amazing buffet selection encompasses exquisite regional and international cuisine with an option for outdoor dining in the summer months.
The relaxed atmosphere and surroundings of Il Giardino is perfectly in keeping with its creative and flavourful Italian menu.
Paying homage to the cultures of the south eastern Mediterranean is Aldar, the resort's new restaurant where the scents, aromas and flavour profiles of the Middle East and Arabia are channeled into an enticing menu.
Nothing is more typically Portuguese than Chicken Piri Piri, so much so that the Sheraton Algarve has named a restaurant in its honour. Not limited merely to chicken, Piri Piri offers a superb range of grilled meat and fish.
